At the end of this program, the participants will understand the following.
 Understand applicable codes pertaining to Foundation Flood Venting.
 Cover the new ICC regulations ASCE 24-98, ICBO, BOCA, and SCCCI codes, and the National Flood Insurance Program (FEMA) regulations Including TB 1-08.
 Have a thorough knowledge of the new NFIP flood plain Elevation Cer-tificate, including the surveyor’s new responsibility. Calculate the Sq/Ft of enclosed area correctly.
 Review the requirements of an Engineered Opening.
 Understand and appreciate the process of independent evolution of the construction products and their value to architects and code officials.
 Architects, Surveyor, and Builder liability.
 Ventilation in a crawl space. Review open area codes with and without vapor barrier.
