The Spike Club is an organization composed of all the individual members in our local association who have attained SPIKE status. It is a vehicle to recognize these members for their outstanding achievements in membership recruitment and retention in CBIA.
A Spike is a member or employee of a member who has earned at least six Spike credits within two consecutive membership years. Spike credits are earned by recruiting and retaining CBIA or Sales and Marketing Council members. A Spike candidate is an individual who earns between one and five credits and is on his/her way to reaching Spike status.
To retain Spike status one must recruit two members per year until you reach a total of 25 members, then you become a LIFE SPIKE.
