Membership Specifics
Membership in the Sales and Marketing Council is open to anyone whose firm is a member of the Collier Building Industry Association (CBIA). Simply complete the application, noting the person who sponsored your membership and return it along with a check in the amount of $90. You will receive a letter of welcome, a membership certificate at our next meeting and a personal invitation for orientation from our Ambassador Committee. Education
Increase your effectiveness and stay on top of changing trends through practical sales training programs, national certification and motivational speakers.

Current programs offered through SMC include the Certified Sales Professional (CSP) course and courses designed to qualify you for the Member Institute of Residential Marketing (MIRM) designation. These programs are offered to SMC Members at a reduced rate.

Inform
Outstanding speakers, sales and marketing professionals with local, state and national reputations, share their expertise at special meetings and programs held throughout the year. You will be kept informed of all SMC meetings and programs through the CBIA Business Builder publication, regular flyers and announcements.

Awards & Recognition
Increase motivation through SMC's special Sales Awards. Our local awards promote recognition of those who have made impressive contributions to the field of new home sales and marketing in the CBIA area.

Special Programs
The Sand Dollar Awards is the largest and most prestigious awards program recognizing excellence in Building, Interior Design, Landscape Design, Marketing and Advertising. The SMC organizes this annual event.

The Industry Panel and Ross McIntosh are two very popular events presented by our SMC. Each event is available for sponsorship for $750. Event sponsors receive their company name and logo on all flyers, advertisements and notices, recognition during the event and signage at the event.

SMC's annual Holiday Fundraiser promotes builders, interior designers and trade members while raising funds for local charities.

National Benefits
Membership in the National Sales and Marketing Council is included in your SMC membership fee. Some of the benefits of this include:

• Ability to enter and participate in the Million Dollar Circle Awards, the SOLD Awards and the largest national sales and marketing competition in the industry, the National Sales and Marketing Awards.
